Advanced Train the Trainer: Using Exercises in Curriculum Design

Details:
This workshop offers EXPERIENCED TRAINERS an opportunity to explore best practices in using experiential exercises in trainings and workshops.

We’ll examine the pluses and minuses of various types of exercises and how to sequence them within a training module.

There will be
• Ample time to ask questions
• Share experiences
• Gain new tools to freshen & deepen your training practice.

We will identify when and how to use small groups within a larger group and explore the use of exercises, including:
• Icebreakers
• Individual assessments
• Role plays
• Drawing and images
• Case studies
• Games

PREREQUISITE
The Support Center’s two-day Train the Trainer workshop.

* This session is limited to 15 participants. *

Facilitator's Bio:Andrée Lockwood, President of Andrée Lockwood Associates, has over 20 years of experience as a consultant, trainer, and facilitator. She conducts workshops and facilitates retreats on topics including communications skills, “training of the trainer,” time and stress management, and customer service.

Representative clients include: Fund for the City of New York, Grand Street Settlement, Maimonides Medical Center, New York Public Library, Project FIND, and UJA-Federation of NY. Andrée holds a Divinity degree from the University of London.
