An open, trusting, cooperative relationship can be most easily maintained when board members and staff operate within the scope of their own responsibilities—the staff in day-to-day organization management, and the board in its policy and planning role.

In this workshop you will learn to delineate the roles and responsibilities of executive directors, management staff and board members to create effective working relationships to best run your organization.

Facilitator's Bio:Linda Meisel, LCSW has been the Executive Director of Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County for the past 10 years. For the prior 10 years, she was the Executive Director of Corner House Counseling Center. She has served on the Board of the Jewish Center of Princeton, Princeton Young Achievers and the Princeton Nursery School. Ms. Meisel has conducted numerous workshops on Board/volunteer activities. She received her MSW from the Graduate School of Social Work at Rutgers.
