This workshop will reveal the basics of planned giving in plain language. |
| Details: | YOU WILL:
• Learn about the different varieties of planned gifts, including bequests, charitable annuities and charitable trusts
• Explore how to include planned giving in your organization’s fundraising strategy
• Discuss who the best prospects are for planned giving based on age range and giving history
• Learn about gifts that are part of donors’ estate and retirement plans

• Planned giving is most suitable to organizations that have at least 10 years of longevity, an individual giving program, and viable leadership beyond the founder |

| Facilitator's Bio: | Davida Isaacson is President of Davida Isaacson Consulting Inc. Prior to the formation of her own company Davida was Principal and Senior Consultant with Myerberg Shain and Associates. Formerly she served as Executive Director of the Jewish Community Foundation of MetroWest, where she raised $12 million in major and planned gifts in 18 months.
Ms. Isaacson is a nationally recognized lecturer on major gift and planned gift topics and is an assistant adjunct professor at the George H. Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising at New York University. She has served as officer, including President, of the Planned Giving Group of Greater New York and on the Board of the National Committee for Planned Giving.
Prior to her work in the not-for-profit industry Ms. Isaacson was a trust and estate banker for twenty years. While a Vice President at National State Bank in Summit, NJ she served on the bank’s charitable gift committee and oversaw grantmaking from the bank’s discretionary charitable gift fund. |
