In a rapidly changing environment, when resources are particularly scarce, does strategic planning still make sense?

Details:

Much of the strategic thinking that takes place during a formal planning process continues to be essential.

However, the time horizons are much shorter, and strategy development needs to become integrated into the ongoing work of the organization.

We will explore the following:
� What questions do organizations need to answer in these complex times?
� Who should be involved, and in what way?
� What information is needed to make good decisions?
>>> Scenario planning - planning for alternative futures
>>> Structures for building strategic thinking into the work of management and leadership
>>> Feedback mechanisms that allow the organization to identify results and changes

� Executive directors
� Board members
� Senior executives involved in the strategic planning process
� Best suited for organizations seriously considering strategic planning or those just starting.
