TAGLINE:
A memorable, repeatable phrase of 8 words or less that conveys the value of an organization’s overall work, program or campaign with distinction and verve.

ARE YOUR TAGLINES STRONG ENOUGH TO:
• get attention!
• generate questions???
• and motivate action!?

Effective taglines are great tools to revitalize your brand,
reaffirm your promise and refresh your messages.

But 72% of nonprofit professionals rate their organization's tagline as poor,
or don’t have one at all.

A tagline is a terrible thing to waste. Make sure you don’t by learning what makes a strong tagline work and the 7 deadly sins to avoid like the plague, both richly illustrated by nonprofit examples.

After you run your tagline (for your organization, program or campaign) through a new diagnostic tool, we’ll open the tagline clinic for Q&A.

Bring your tagline (it should be etched in your brain) and be prepared to discuss your successes and challenges in designing or using your current tagline, or work on developing one for the first time
